one year ago Emanueala proposed to have a blog in amazonia.org.
I then installed  Wordpress, the standard opens source blog program , provided an initial configuration
and then sent to AA the following miessage in  three languages

Portuguese
Italiano
English
 
All persons can read the blogs
 
To write on the blogs you must register
Registered persons can have different roles and capabilities:
Contributors can write only comments and articles drafts 
Authors can write  and publish comments and articles
Editors can also edit articles,  create categories and links 
Administrator  can add  writers, change their role and capability, modify the look  and structure of  blog
Blog master       can edit the software program (.php, html,mysql
 
 
If you want to write into all three the blogs you must
register separately to all three the blogs
 
Currently  the  role automatically assigned  at registration is Author
 
If you want a different role or require help or you have found errors or malfunctioning please contact
blogmaster@amazonia.org

The blog is based on Wordpress (see www.wordpress.org)

Apart from an initial article by Chris nobody made use of this instrument, so I was quite surprised when Chris some days ago told me  that in England people were working
to provide him with a blogging facility when he never made use of the blog already set-up for him and all other people of the Associacao Amazonia.

Let us not keep doing things twice or thrice, the resources are scarce and once is enough.
I hope that this time people will start using the blog, especially the portuguese speakers of the Jauaperi.

Currently there is not a link to the blog in the home page. I was waiting that the blogs are minimally filled and tested but if you think we can put it on the homepage immediately.
Until some volunteer (Toby  :-) ? ) does not offer his services as Administrator and Blog Master I shall  perform those functions.
