We live in the state of Roraima in the country of Brazil. Our river is called the Jauaperí, which is an affluent of the Rio Negro. Its' waters are dark. The igarapé where we live is called the Xixuaú. Its' waters are transparent. We live in an ecological reserve. Here nobody hunts, fishes or cuts wood to sell. For this reason there are a lot of animals and the forest is very beautiful. People come here to study, film, and take photographs of our environment.
